The Beggar Who Taught A Religious Scholar, and A Scientist A Lifetime Lesson About God
To have an answer, or not to have an answer, that’s not the question. To stay with the question for long, that might be the answer.
A beggar was passing by when he saw two men arguing. At the outset, he thought, maybe the quarrel is about something silly, as both of the men were extremely heated.
Once he approached them, he found that they’re discussing the creation of the Universe, and the existence of God.
Although he needed some money, he didn’t ask them. He tried to be a helping hand and lessen the heat of their arguments. In a few minutes, he got to know that these two gentlemen are scholars. One is a religious scholar and the other is a scientist.
The religious scholar, looking for an extra reason to put his opponent down, asked the beggar:
“Look! I say to this gentleman that God exists. He laughs at me and says that you are very stupid.”
The beggar asked the scientist about the logic behind that.
