From Education Denied to Extremism’s Grip
She is barred from university education, and her brother mentioned that to prevent her from succumbing to depression at home, she has been attending a religious school (Madrasa) for a few months. This week, she had exams in all subjects in Arabic, but they were allowed to solve the exams at home and then submit them. Her brother told me that the level of Arabic instruction at her school is so high that even our mosque’s imam cannot help, let alone me. What should be done? She should not fail.
